Bentonville Sessions
DND 5e Demo Sessions (Recommended 2-6 Players per session) – with James Hendrix – running Voyage to Stormwreck Isle
Bring your friends and grab a premade character or bring your own first-level adventurer as you set sail for Stormwreck Isle. In this quick scenario, you will get an entry-level introduction to the Fifth Edition Dungeons and Dragons Role Playing Game (referred to as 5e and/or DND). The session is great for any player wanting to see what DND is about.
From beginning to end, each session should take roughly one hour but may take more or less depending on the choices you and your fellow adventurers make. Come join the fun, make some new friends, and maybe even fight a monster or two! If you come early and enjoy the game, you might consider jumping into another game later in the day.
- Session 1 – 12:15 p.m.
- Session 2 – 1:45 p.m.
- Session 3 – 3:15 p.m.
- Session 4 – 4:45 p.m.
- Session 5 – 6:15 p.m.
Shadows of Brimstone – Western Mines – Mage
Come early for a walk-through of the rules and see if it’s for you. If you like it, come back at 4:30 and play a full game. Dungeon crawl through the mines. Western-themed characters fighting your way through a mineshaft that has portals to other worlds and monsters from the void! Come join the fun! Room for 4 in each session.
Introduction sessions – Short games every hour on the hour from noon to 4 p.m.

DND 5E: Obojima – Kenneth Friend – 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Are you an avid DND fan, but have always wondered what it would be like to play in Hyrule from Legend of Zelda, or in a Studio Gibli setting? Well, now you can! Join us for a sneak peek at the upcoming new setting of Obojima from 1985 Games where you can experience the whimsy and draw of this unique island. We will play a quick one-shot and introduce some of the cool new things that are found on Obojima and learn how to brew some uniquely helpful potions!
DND 5E: Short Adventures – Mike McMillan – Noon to 4 p.m. as many as we can fit in
We will run a series of short adventures that take between 30 to 60 minutes to complete. Character sheets are provided, or bring your own; the character levels will be increasing for each one, up to a max of level 7.
DND 5E: Heliana’s Guide to Monster Hunting, Short Adventures – Robbie McMillan – Noon to 3:30 as many as we can fit
Heliana’s Guide to Monster Hunting is a supplement and adventure book for 5e DnD. It introduces long-awaited rules for tracking, harvesting, crafting, and cooking, as well as 11 monster-hunting adventures! We will use pre-made characters to experience new character options including the Monster Tamer Class and the Mycelian Race.

Welcome to the wasteland! A mysterious amount of eyebots have been roaming the Boston area with a strange invitation to a grand opening 200 years in the making. “First come, first serve” the eyebrows warn. * Gameplay aids will be provided and no knowledge of the gameplay or setting is required! Characters will be provided and newcomers are encouraged to join.
