Gear Gaming is a store and community meeting space in Northwest Arkansas dedicated to the belief that everyone belongs around the gaming table.

We operate stores in Bentonville and Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Glenn Whitman opened the first Gear Gaming store in April 2014 in Fayetteville. It was born out of an earlier shop that sold handmade steampunk gear.

 A native of the small town of Gravette, Glenn discovered Dungeons and Dragons and Live Action Roleplaying (LARP) at an early age, using “boffer” style foam-wrapped weapons to play with friends on his family’s farm.

A dad himself now of two young children, Glenn and the Gear staff emphasize the affordable and safe nature of board games, trading card games and roleplaying games.

“We try to offer a safe place for gamers and their families that is inexpensive and emphasizes face-to-face interaction,” Glenn said about the business.

Our community spaces in both stores are open to the public to use for free so long as there isn’t store programming going on. We do host a number of events each week.
